Join us as the Maryland State Fair proudly honors the men and women who have served our country during Military Appreciation Day Presented by Toyota. Throughout the day, veterans, active-duty military members, their families, and the public are invited to enjoy special programming celebrating military service while connecting with organizations that support our veteran community.
Admission Information
Thanks to Toyota, veterans and active-duty military members receive free admission on Military Appreciation Day by presenting a valid military ID at any admission gate. In addition, 4,000 complimentary admission tickets are available in advance through Vet Tix for veterans, active-duty military members, and their families while supplies last.

Veterans Resource Village

Visit the Veterans Resource Village to meet with nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and community partners offering resources, programs, and services for veterans, active-duty military members, and their families. Whether you’re looking for benefits information, career resources, wellness programs, or ways to get involved, you’ll find valuable connections all in one place.

Warrior Canine Connection Service Dog Demonstration
2:00 pm – 2:30 p.m.
Learn how specially trained service dogs are changing lives during this inspiring demonstration presented by a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising service dogs for veterans living with PTSD and traumatic brain injuries (TBI). Discover the training process, hear impactful stories, and see these incredible dogs in action.
Live Performance: U.S. Naval Academy Band – Electric Brigade
2:30 pm – 3:30 p.m. | 4:00 pm – 5:00 p.m.
Enjoy two high-energy performances by Electric Brigade, the popular contemporary music ensemble of the U.S. Naval Academy Band. Their dynamic show features a mix of rock, pop, country, and patriotic favorites, making it a highlight of Military Appreciation Day.
