Unaccompanied Minor Admission Policy
To promote a safe, welcoming, and family-friendly environment, the following policy will be in effect during all operating hours of the 2026 Maryland State Fair:
- All fairgoers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or chaperone who is 21 years of age or older to enter the Fairgrounds.
- Each adult chaperone may accompany no more than six (6) minors.
- Individuals who are 18 years or older may be required to show a valid driver’s license or government-issued photo ID to verify age.
- Unaccompanied individuals under 18 who cannot provide proof of age or are not with a qualifying adult will not be admitted at any time.
- This policy does not apply to organized group outings or Fair competitions (such as
4-H or FFA) where existing chaperone procedures are already in place.
We thank you for your understanding and support in maintaining a secure and enjoyable experience for all Maryland State Fair guests.
