2023 Job Fair
The Maryland State Fair will host a Job Fair on Thursday, August 3 on the second floor of the admin building! Join us from 3-7 p.m. for a streamlined State Fair hiring process. State Fair departments will be hiring for a variety of jobs to work all 13 days of this year’s Maryland State Fair!
At the Job Fair, applicants can register and meet with a State Fair representative. If your interests, availability, and experience match an open position, a fair department will interview you on the spot.
Here’s What You Need to Know
- Compensation is $15/hr and free admission to the Fair.
- Positions available at the Job Fair include jobs such as ticket takers and sellers, parking attendants, security, merchandise, food attendants, and more!
- The applicant line will begin forming for the Job Fair at 2:30 p.m. outside the Admin Building, and anyone in line by 6:45 p.m. can participate.
- Resumes are not needed but are encouraged. Applicants offered a State Fair position will be asked to complete a background check.
- Applicants must be 18 years or older to apply.
- Applicants should bring either a passport OR a valid form of ID (such as drivers license) and their social security card.
