Rock out with your mullet out at the Maryland State Fair! Show off your luscious locks in our inaugural Mullet Madness Competition presented by Carter Cat!
The entry fee is $25 and includes admission for the competitor and one other person into the fair on the day of the competition.

How it Works
- Enter online using your best glamour shots of your beautiful mane by August 21, 2026.
- All contestants will receive two emailed admission tickets to attend the event.
- A committee will whittle the competition down to the cream of the crop, who will be invited on stage as the finalists. The finalists will be notified by August 28, 2026 at 5pm.
- Arrive on competition day, ready to strut the runway on the State Fair Park Free Stage, Sponsored by Maryland Lottery and T-Mobile.
Prizes
Prizes will be awarded in every age group!
1st Place Prize: $250 and a medal
2nd Place Prize: $150 and a medal
3rd Place Prize: $75 and a medal
Most American Mullet: $100 and trophy

J.V. (6-17)
