5Watch these highly-trained athletes race to the finish during the 2025 Maryland State Fair! We’re proud to provide seven days of racing, August 22-24 and August 29- September 1. Watch the races and wager in the Grandstand seats as the Thoroughbreds round the 5/8 mile track, or relax in the air-conditioned Off-Track Betting (OTB) Facility.
This event is free to watch! Post times are at 12:25 pm on each race day and continue until all races are completed.
Watch ornamental blacksmith Jason Anderson as he manipulates iron and steel into unique artistic yet functional designs during non-stop, continuous live demonstrations!

Pretty Bird Paradise is a fun and educational interactive all-day attraction. Guests have the opportunity to feed the birds with food sticks which allow the birds to come and land on them and have a tasty snack.

The Strolling Piano is a unique concept in the world of corporate musical entertainment, combining the classic and sophisticated nature of a pianist/singer with the flexibility of a strolling musician.

Wolves of The World is the only traveling wolf pack in the world. This beautiful show demonstrates natural behaviors of wolves, their alertness, pack structure, ability in climbing, jumping and a whole lot more.

Battle of the Beasts Professional Bull Riding and Cowgirl Barrel Racing – the cowboy will once again face the bulls for one of America’s fastest growing extreme spectator sports when J Bar W Ranch hosts the Battle of the Beasts Bull Riding and Cowgirl Barrel Racing Competition.
