About the Program
Snuggle up and settle in for down-on-the-farm storytelling! Join us at the U-Learn Ag Education Center on certain nights for Cow Tales Barnyard Bedtime Stories, a heartwarming, interactive program that allows children to practice their reading skills—straight from the barnyard!
During specific times, young fairgoers and their families are invited to gather ’round for storytime featuring books about farm animals, life on the farm, and where our food comes from. Children can enjoy:
- 📖 The first one hundred readers receive a free agriculture-focused children’s book and a free candy bag courtesy of Goetze’s Candy Company.
- 🐐 Up-close moments with real farm animals.
- 📸 Photo ops with our Barnyard Storytime friends.
Kids are encouraged to come in pajamas and bring a cozy blanket or favorite stuffed animal to really get into the bedtime spirit. It’s the perfect way to wind down after a fun-filled day at the Fair! This event is free with Fair admission.
