The Maryland German Festival has been sponsored by the Maryland Buergerverein since 1904. Our association strives for the closer union of people interested in the German heritage of Maryland. The Buergerverein itself is an umbrella association for organizations, clubs, lodges, societies, corporations, and businesses within Maryland’s German community.
