What are the differences between the 4-H/FFA Competitions and the Open Class Competitions?
4-H/FFA are youth development organizations. To participate in the 4-H/FFA competitions, you must be an active youth member of either Maryland 4-H or Maryland FFA.
In the Open Class Competitions, anyone of any age, from any state may enter and compete. However, there are some Open Class Competitions with youth only divisions.
