The Maryland State Fair Livestock Fund was created to promote and support youth livestock exhibitors at the Maryland State Fair. The fund aims to increase premiums for livestock exhibitors each year and create year-round educational opportunities for the youth.

The youth involved in livestock shows are the leaders who will run our businesses and shape our government, our state, and our country in the future. We must show our youth we believe in them and stand behind their solid work ethics. We hope you will partner with us to celebrate our hardworking youth by donating!

100% of every dollar you spend supports the Maryland State Fair Livestock Fund — directly benefiting the hardworking youth who make our fair special. These young exhibitors aren’t just showing animals — they’re building futures. They’re tomorrow’s business owners, ag leaders, and community changemakers. Livestock Sale! Come out and support our 4-H & FFA youth at the 2026 Livestock Sale, Monday, August 31st, if a group of you would like to get together to purchase locally grown BEEF or PORK. It’s a great opportunity to BUY LOCAL and FILL YOUR FREEZER with good quality meat.

The Banner Auction !
Let’s rally behind the future of livestock exhibitors.
Banners for species Champions, banners for the top five animals in each species, and reserved parking spaces will be available for purchase!
Banner and Parking Spot winners will have their names/logos on the banners/signs, which are presented to the youth and will be displayed throughout the fair, as well as, names/logos will be included in the respective show programs. Please remember to include your name/logo when purchasing!
