The 2024 Maryland State Fair is back for three weekends of fun! The dates are August 22-25, August 29- September 2, and September 5-8.

No gate admission after 9pm.

Yes! Wheelchairs and wagons may be rented from the rental station located near the Light Rail Entrance. Both motorized and manual wheelchairs are available for rent. Information about rentals can be found on the Mobility Scooters & Wagon Rentals page.

Volunteers and seasonal employees are a great asset and part of what makes the Fair such a success year after year. To learn more, visit the Employment page closer to the Fair for more information.
Seeing-eye and other service animals for the disabled are permitted. No other pets are allowed on the Fairgrounds. Pets are allowed in off-grounds parking/camping areas, but MUST be on leashes or otherwise confined at all times.
The Maryland State Fairgrounds is private property, owned by the Maryland State Fair & Agricultural Society Inc. Guns and other weapons are prohibited during the annual Maryland State Fair and all guests must walk through security screening before entering the event.
FB/IG CONTEST RULES: The contest is open to legal residents of the U.S., where not prohibited by law, who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. The Maryland State Fair has the right to verify the eligibility of each entrant. All eligible entries received during the submission period, dictated within the contest post, will be gathered and winners will be chosen from randomly-selected, generated numbers. Ticketed prizes will either be delivered by mail to the participants’ provided address or the participant will be instructed to pick up the prize at the Will Call window located at the fairground entrance. This contest is not related, sponsored or affiliated with Facebook or Instagram in any way.
