Minor Admission Policy – Effective for the 2025 Maryland State Fair
To promote a safe, welcoming, and family-friendly environment, the following policy will be in effect during all operating hours of the 2025 Maryland State Fair:

All fairgoers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or chaperone who is 21 years of age or older to enter the Fairgrounds.

Each adult chaperone may accompany no more than six (6) minors.

Individuals who are 18 years or older may be required to show a valid driver’s license or government-issued photo ID to verify age.

Unaccompanied individuals under 18 who cannot provide proof of age or are not with a qualifying adult will not be admitted at any time.

This policy does not apply to organized group outings or Fair competitions (such as
4-H or FFA) where existing chaperone procedures are already in place.
