All children 3 and over require a paid concert ticket to be admitted to the concert.
Those having special needs and attending the Justin Bieber Concert on Sunday, September 5th, will be admitted to the Racing Stable Area beginning at 5PM, ONLY with the following credentials. To gain admittance to the Racing Stable Area, it will be required to have and present to security, concert tickets and handicapped credentials. The Racing Stable Area can be accessed ONLY from Timonium Road (heading West), adjacent to Aylesbury Drive. From the Racing Stable Area, you will be escorted into the Racetrack Infield where the concert will take place.
Concert tickets are good for fair admission on September 5 only. Those attending the concert will not be permitted to “camp out” on the State Fair property the day of or in the days prior to the concert.
Parking lots and fair gates will open at 8:00am on September 5th. Due to our Live Horseracing schedule on that day, concert tickets holders will not be allowed to enter the racetrack infield before 5:30pm. In order to prevent concert attendees from feeling the need to spend hours in line to protect their position, the following system will be implemented:
When you present your concert ticket at the main admission gates, you will be given a color-coded wristband, which determines your entry group. The earlier you arrive at the fair, the earlier you will be allowed to enter the infield.
For the safety of everyone, concert ticket holders will be allowed entry into the infield by entry group. Entry groups will be gathered at one of two staging areas. One is located on the west side of the racetrack, adjacent to the line of large trees. The second staging area will be located in the racetrack grandstand. Your wristband will show the time at which you will be permitted into the staging area. Once in your designated staging area, you will be checked by security and then allowed access into the infield.
YOU WILL NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE STAGING AREA PRIOR TO YOUR SPECIFIED TIME.
With your cooperation, this system will eliminate the need for anyone to stand in a long line for hours to protect his or her entry position. If you wish to come to the fair, obtain your wristband and leave, you may do so, as your wristband will allow re-entry to the fair.
However, there are many things to enjoy at the fair. Our exhibit buildings will be opening at 9am on September 5th. And you wont want to miss Disney’s All Star Weekend perform on the Park stage at 3pm.
Your wristband also entitles you to discounts on midway rides. And if you buy a package of ride coupons, you’ll get 10 additional tickets free (that’s a total of 30 tickets for only $20).
The entry system has been developed for your safety and convenience, and with your cooperation, all will have a safe and enjoyable day. Again, please consider riding the light rail.
